My Recent Review of Caesar's Palace Las Vegas Resort
Discover why Caesar's Palace Las Vegas Resort is an iconic destination for luxury, relaxation, and entertainment.
Exploring the Expansive Grounds of Caesar's Palace
Caesar's Palace Las Vegas is a colossal resort that stretches across a significant portion of the Strip. With its grand architecture inspired by ancient Rome, the resort offers an immersive experience right from the moment you step through its doors. The property is divided into several distinct towers, each offering its unique charm and amenities.
Navigating the sprawling grounds can be an adventure in itself. The resort features numerous high-end shops, a sprawling casino, and various entertainment venues, ensuring there's never a dull moment.
Choosing the Perfect Tower for Your Stay
One of the key decisions when staying at Caesar's Palace is selecting the right tower that suits your needs. If your primary interest is lounging by the pool and enjoying the proximity to the Bellagio, then staying in the southern area of the resort is ideal. This area offers easy access to the resort's luxurious pools and a short walk to the Bellagio.
On the other hand, if you prefer being closer to the gaming action and the vibrant energy of the Strip, the Colosseum Tower is a better choice. This tower provides quick access to the casino floor and the bustling Las Vegas Boulevard right across the street.
Dining Delights: From Buffets to Fine Dining
When it comes to dining, Caesar's Palace does not disappoint. The resort boasts an impressive array of restaurants, from casual eateries to gourmet dining experiences. The highlight for many guests is the renowned Bacchanal Buffet, which offers an extravagant selection of dishes from around the world.
Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a lavish meal, the dining options at Caesar's Palace cater to every palate. The quality and variety of the food make it a culinary destination in its own right.
We did quite a bit of casual dining this trip. Bobby's Burgers is very good as is Guys' Chicken Guy or whatever it is. Both are late-night options, with Bobby's being the latest. We also ate at the Buffet, which was amazing! Then also, Gordon's Pub & Grill ~ delightful as well. I will say though, the sticky toffee pudding, is better at Steak (Paris Las Vegas).
Poolside Paradise: Relaxation and Entertainment
The pool area at Caesar's Palace is nothing short of spectacular. With multiple pools, including a swim-up blackjack table, there's no shortage of ways to relax and have fun in the sun. The beautifully landscaped pool area provides a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the Strip.
For those who prefer a more private retreat, the pool cabanas are a fantastic option. These cabanas offer a comfortable space to escape the heat, complete with amenities like a TV and seating areas, perfect for guests who aren't huge pool enthusiasts but still want to enjoy the poolside atmosphere.
Convenient Eats: The Ups and Downs of Caesar's Eats
Caesar's Eats is a convenient food delivery service available throughout the resort. Whether you're lounging by the pool, relaxing in your room, or exploring the property, you can have delicious meals delivered right to you.
However, one downside is that Caesar's Eats is not available 24 hours a day. Gone are the days of 24-hour room service, which may be a slight inconvenience for those late-night cravings or early morning breakfasts. Also, another downside, is there are limited customization option. Hate mayo? Too bad.
Room Review: Colosseum Tower
During my stay, we were in a remodeled room in the Colosseum Tower. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, offering all the modern amenities you'd expect from a luxury resort. The proximity to the casino and the Strip was a major plus, making it easy to dive into the action whenever I wanted. The in-room phone stand/wireless charging, with plenty of ports was a fantastic surprise.
Ok let's talk the bed. I get that this can be a tough one to write on, since everyone is so picky. I also must admit, I have a bad back and joints. With that being said, overall, I was pleased. As a side sleeper, my hips did get sore quite a bit as I'm used to more cushion and these are mid-firm, I guess. However, still quite comfortable and I got good rest.
The views from the Colosseum Tower are also worth mentioning. Depending on the floor and side of the tower, you can enjoy stunning vistas of the Las Vegas skyline or the resort's impressive architecture. Overall, the Colosseum Tower provided a comfortable and convenient base for my Las Vegas adventure.
Gaming Review: Slots & Tables
Caesar's Palace boasts a large casino and it's easy to get lost in. There are really 2 sections of the casino, the main area near the lobby & cashier, then the colosseum area. the sports book kind of sits in-between.
The main area near the lobby has all of the table games. There aren't any in the walk-area leading to the colosseum area any longer either, those are now all video table games. Minimums here for the tables usually range around the $25 mark and go higher during weekends and peak times.
Behind the main area table games are the slots! They didn't have a big variety of slots in this area to be honest. The colosseum area does have more slots and a bit more variety. The slots are pretty typical but very few "co-branded" slots like Crazy Rich Asians, The Mask, Monopoly, Wizard of Oz, etc... Instead, they're all more "generic" brands with the similar play styles
Customer Service Review
5 Stars! We really had great service wherever we went within Caesars. Also, the gaming floor had very quick attendants when needed, kept the area clean, ash trays emptied, etc. Drink service is always hit or miss, but better in the Colosseum area usually. The staff were just absolutely amazing and accommodating when there was a mix-up on the room and a limited options for 2 queen beds. They made up for it, of course and followed through. I won't go into details, as it's not really worth it since they made up for it and I wound up being in a location I preferred over the original one!
Things I want to do Next Time:
I definitely want to do some for mor gourmet food experiences! Hell's Kitchen, Bobby Flay's place, and Nobu, etc. I also wouldn't mind checking out the Spa as they're known to have an amazing spa. I would also venture out into some more the Forum Shops. I've done them before, but shopping wasn't on my mind this trip!
